pure simple you
i feel settled, i feel complete. i feel release. i feel at ease. i feel peace.
it doesnt matter what happens now.
nor did it ever really.
but now, i have taken one more joyous step.
toward - me, toward truth, towards freedom.
and what is freedom?
freedom can mean so many things,
but ultimately,
it means the freedom to be,
to exist,
and to be as you are,
just as you,
unashamed and unabashed. pure simple whole. pure simple true. pure simple you.
this is what it means.
and building this.
i did that.
there are no words to articulate.
like i just sculpted self, my soul in this world.
not for anyone else, but for me. purely wholly selfishly me.
that i get to exist.
and that - i do exist.
and that i choose to exist.
and this is what my heart stands for.
this is what my heart loves.
this is just - me.
perhaps that's the truest act of freedom, of love.
to honor oneself no matter where it may lead.
to the depths of ecstasy and beyond
to the depths of heaven and beyond
to the depths of earth and beyond.
and what is beyond heaven and earth.

why i didn't think you'd ask.
the answer to that is quite simple.
it's to be here now.
